Cesar Bandera is assistant professor of entrepreneurship at the Martin Tuchman School of Management of the New Jersey Institute of Technology. His research interests include experiential entrepreneurship education and policies for technology business incubation. Bandera has also founded and successfully harvested several technology companies; his latest is a wireless m-health company that deploys public health campaigns for institutions in the US and overseas, including CDC, NIH, and EPA. Bandera received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University at Buffalo, NY. His work as an entrepreneur has yielded a NJ Entrepreneur award, a NASA Space Act award, Small Business of the Year Nomination from the US Air Force, and four patents.

Dr. Ayman El Tarabishy is an Associate Teaching Professor of Management at The George Washington University’s School of Business. He is an award winning author and teacher, having been recently awarded the Most Outstanding faculty voted by students four years consecutive – 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. Dr. Alves was appointed Dean of the Jay S. Sidhu School of Business and Leadership at Wilkes University in 2011 following nearly fifteen years as the Allan P. Kirby, Jr., Distinguished Professor of Free Enterprise and Entrepreneurship, Chair of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Leadership Studies in the Jay S. Sidhu School of Business and Leadership, and Director of the Allan P. Kirby Center for Free Enterprise and Entrepreneurship at Wilkes University.
Dr. Ruben Ascua

Dr. Ascúa is a professor at National Technological University (UTN), Regional School of Rafaela; National University of Littoral, School of Economics and National University of General Sarmiento, in Argentina. He is also a Visitor Professor at Business Administration School, Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences, Campus Zweibrücken, Germany. He was President of ICSB (Period 2014/15) and President of Red Pymes Mercosur. Dr. Ascúa has two Degrees, in Business Administration (UNL-FCE) and in Economics (UNR-FCEyE); a Master and a PhD in Economics (PW University San Diego). Dr. Ascúa has been involved in research relating to small business, entrepreneurial process, financing and public policies aimed at local development, clusters and industrial districts. Dr. Ascúa has been consultant of Interamerican Development Bank (MIF) and ECLAC-United Nations.
Dr. Lotfi Belkir
Associate Professor, Entrepreneurship and Innovation , McMaster (Canada)
Dr. Lotfi Belkir is a physicist, inventor, entrepreneur and a scholar. He currently fills the Endowed Chair in Eco-Entrepreneurship at the Walter G. Booth School of Engineering Practice & Technology at McMaster University. Dr. Belkhir’s current research and teaching have for core mission the advancement of a sustainable society through innovation, entrepreneurship, design and policy. Recently, his school’s Master’s in Entrepreneurship program received the coveted Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award by the International Council of Small Business & Entrepreneurship (ICSB). Dr. Belkhir is also a proven practitioner; In 2001, he founded Kirtas Technologies, the maker of the world’s first and fastest automatic book scanner, which, under his leadership, ranked as one of Inc. 500 fastest growing companies in America two years in a row. Dr. Belkhir is a regularly featured speaker on the subjects of Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility at many venues. He holds a Ph.D. in physics and a Master’s in Management of Technology. Originally from Algeria, Lotfi is fluent in English, Arabic and French.

Antonio Botti is an Associate Professor of management at the University of Salerno. He is also member of the Scientific committee and vice-director of a the Master in Management to Innovation at the University of Salerno. His research interest focuses on entrepreneurship, public management, performance evalutation and consumer behavior in the areas of tourism, technology, innovation and education. His business experience includes management consulting and market research in the agri-food industry in Italy, in destination management and in local development. He has been widely involved in the supervision of Masters and PhD dissertations across several research areas.
DR. GERALYN MCCLURE FRANKLIN

Dr. Geralyn McClure Franklin is an innovative and experienced academic leader, serving as dean of business at three American institutions for 11 1/2 years and interim dean at another for two years, before retiring in the State of Texas in 2014. From 2014-2016, she led the College of Business and Economics at the United Arab Emirates University. With more than 30 years of academic and entrepreneurship experience as a dean, associate dean, department chair, faculty member, and advisor, Dr. Franklin is now consulting with business schools and universities in the United States and globally as well as supporting several entrepreneurial ventures through her own start-up GMF Academic Advisors, LLC. As an academic, Dr. Franklin has published more than 80 journal articles and 50 conference proceedings on human resource management, employment law, and small and entrepreneurial issues. Professionally, she remains active in AACSB International, previously serving two elected terms on the board of directors and currently serving as a mentor for schools in the initial business accreditation process. Since June 2012, Dr. Franklin has been the senior vice president of finance and control for the International Council for Small Business (ICSB). As of July 1, 2017, she becomes ICSB’s president-elect.
Dr. ELISSA GROSSMAN

Elissa Grossman is a professor at the University of Southern California, where she teaches a varied slate of introductory to advanced courses in entrepreneurship and innovation. At USC, she has developed and taught courses in the undergraduate business, MBA, MSSE (Master of Science in Social Entrepreneurship), MBV (Master of Business for Veterans), and Iovine and Young Academy (arts, technology, and innovation) programs. She is currently developing a course for the Marshall School of Business’ new Online MBA program. An award-winning teacher and researcher, and a long-time proponent of experiential and interactive education, Grossman has a particular interest in the ways technology can be used to help make “traditional” classroom experiences more effective, more efficient, and more relevant to students. Dr. Grossman has published in journals including the Journal of Management and Entrepreneurship Theory & Practice. As a hobby, she runs Crosswords LA, one of largest crossword puzzle tournaments in the nation.

Dr. Jeff Hornsby serves as the Executive Director of the Regnier Institute and Chair of the Department of Global Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Dr. Hornsby holds the Henry Bloch/Missouri Endowed Chair of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Prior to that he held the role Jack Vanier Endowed Chair and Founding Director of the Center for the Advancement of Entrepreneurship at Kanas State and the Ball Distinguished Professor and Academic Director of Entrepreneurship at Ball State University. University. He has authored or co-authored 74 refereed journal articles appearing in the top journals in entrepreneurship and management and has coauthored six books entitled on entrepreneurship, innovation, and human resource management. He is co-editor of the Journal of Small Business Management. Dr. Hornsby is currently on the boards of the Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers and the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization (CEO). He has consulted with entrepreneurial start-ups to Fortune 500 companies in the areas of business planning, leadership, human resources, high performance work systems, corporate entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation. Dr. Hornsby received his PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Auburn University.

Dr. Ki-Chan Kim is a Professor of Business Administration at The Catholic University of Korea. He received a PhD from Seoul National University, Korea, and has researched at the University of Tokyo, and MIT as a visiting scholar. His research interests are modularization with IT, inter-firm relationship at the automotive industry, and supply chain management.
Dr. Eric Liguori

Liguori is an associate editor for the Journal of Small Business Management , the Journal of Business and Entrepreneurship , the Annals of Entrepreneurship Education and Pedagogy and the Experiential Entrepreneurship Exercises Journal . He is also on the editorial review boards of Management Decision and the Journal of Small Business and Entrepreneurship .
Liguori serves on the board of directors of the U.S. Association for Business and Entrepreneurship, the International Organization for Developmental Entrepreneurship, the Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization and 1 Million Cups Tampa. He was also lead researcher for Hewlett-Packard’s Learning Initiative for Entrepreneurs pilot into entrepreneurship classrooms across the nation in partnership with NACCE.
Over the past five years, Liguori has published more than 20 peer-reviewed journal articles, two books and over a dozen book chapters. He and/or his work has been featured by Forbes.com, USA Today , Publisher’s Weekly , The Tampa Tribune , Monster.com and other assorted outlets.

Xiaojiao Lu at Michigan State University Eli Broad Business College, major in General Management and specialized in finance. She was selected as exchange student to study at University of Cambridge, Magdalene College. She served at FY Institute of Technology as Business Development Manager initially, due to her excellent job performance she was later promoted to CEO. During her service, hundreds of graduates were trained and 10% of them started the Company after completed their study. Xiaojiao Lu was nominated as Executive Director and Deputy Secretary- General during ICSB Board meeting in November 2015. Later she was nominated as Vice President of Asia Council for Small Business during the 61st ICSB World Conference in June 2016.
Research area: Xiaojiao Lu has been working at Higher Education institution and organization, she is committing herself to research on innovation and entrepreneurship education and cultivate talents. Mainly focus on the research of growth rule of youth entrepreneurs, entrepreneurship organizations and entrepreneurial activity.

Dr. Adnan Maalaoui

Adnan Maalaoui is the Head of the chair Entrepreneurship and diversity at Paris School of Business. His research mainly focuses on issues of entrepreneurship, and in particular disadvantaged entrepreneurs (elderly, immigrant, disabled entrepreneurs, etc.) He works on topics such as: entrepreneurial intention and the cognitive approach to entrepreneurship. He mainly applies thosequestions to cases of diversity and social entrepreneurship. Adnan Maalaoui is the author of 20+ articles published in academic journals; he also authored articles published in professional journals, and in edited books. Adnane is also the author of a series of French speaking MOOCs on entrepreneurship.

Dr. Tony Mendes

Dr. Tony Mendes is the Director of the University of North Texas Murphy Center for Entrepreneurship and President of the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship, the nation’s largest faculty organization for professors teaching and researching entrepreneurship. Dr. Mendes is an acclaimed entrepreneurial educator who formerly served as executive director of the Academy for Entrepreneurial Leadership (AEL) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has been a member of the USASBE since 2004, where he has held several positions: director of development, senior vice president for programming and director at large. Many of the programs that Mendes initiated have received national prominence including: The Kauffman Campuses program — the nation’s largest foundation to sponsor entrepreneurship, the National Consortium for Life Science Entrepreneurship, the National Consortium for Entrepreneurship in the Liberal Arts, the National Association of Community College Entrepreneurship and the Kauffman Faculty Scholars program. Before entering an academic career as professor of marketing, innovation and entrepreneurship at HEC Montréal, Jean-François started out as an entrepreneur, first as Co-Founder & CEO of JV, a manufacturing business specializing in the production and marketing of school-related supplies, and then as Chief Marketing Officer at LYRtech, a high-tech company that he and his partners took public in 2000 at the Canadian TSX-Venture stock exchange. He recently co-founded his 5th business—Jet Set Systems, a new venture that develops and markets automated and internet-connected solutions for hot tub water maintenance—where he also serves as CEO. Jean-François holds a post-doctorate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is hyperactive on the business scene in Montreal as public speaker and TV personality, author of business books, investor, and director or co-director of entrepreneurial programs such as Parcours Entrepreneurial Rémi-Marcoux (a startup pre-accelerator program) and the Montreal chapter of Silicon Valley’s Founder Institute.

Katia Passerini, Ph.D. is Dean of the College of Professional Studies at St. John’s University, where she also holds a Professor appointment in the Division of Computer Science, Mathematics and Science. Dr. Passerini was the Hurlburt Chair and Professor of Management Information Systems, Martin Tuchman School of Management (2003-2016), New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). She held a joint appointment in the Information Systems (IS) Department in the College of Computing Sciences. She served as Dean for the Albert Dorman Honors College (2013-16). Her research interests are focused on understanding macro-economic drivers of knowledge management, studying wireless broadband applications and industry trends; and, computer-supported learning and education. She has published extensively in refereed journals and proceedings (Communications of the ACM, IEEE IT Professional, Communications of AIS, Electronic Commerce Review, Journal of Knowledge Management, Computers & Education, Journal of Educational Hypermedia and Multimedia, IEEE Internet Computing, Organization Management Journal, International Journal of Management Education) and professional journals (Project Management Network, Cutter IT Journal, Cutter Benchmark Review), particularly in the area of computer-mediated learning, IT productivity, and knowledge management. She was nominated five times for best paper awards at regional and national conferences, and won once. She serves on editorial boards of various IS journals and acted as program and track chair in selected IS conferences.
Dr. Joe Roberts

Dr. Joe Roberts serves as Chair of the Management Department and Director of Entrepreneurship Program at The Walker School of Business and Technology, Webster University. In his role as an entrepreneur and educator he has successfully created entrepreneurship curriculum and cutting edge pedagogical approaches to develop homegrown entrepreneurship programs within business and non-business disciplines at several universities across the country. He is the National Director of The Coleman Foundation Faculty Fellows Program, a nationwide initiative of The Coleman Foundation designed to infuse entrepreneurship concepts across non-business and liberal arts disciplines. His work includes presenting entrepreneurship pedagogy and curriculum workshops and seminars in China, Taiwan, Russia, Germany, Mexico, Canada, Estonia, Vienna, Finland, and India.
Dr. Roberts received his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. He has authored workbooks, articles and papers on entrepreneurship topics. He has won several awards including the Global Peter Drucker Essay Challenge and leadership awards from DePaul University, United States Association of Small Business and Entrepreneurship and Self-Employment in the Arts. He won the Telly and Aegis Awards for a documentary he directed and produced titled “Entrepreneurship, Then and Now.” He also mentors entrepreneurs and self-employed artists across the country and has extensive experience helping entrepreneurs procure start-up funding.

Dr. Walter Ruda is a Professor for Business Administration, esp. Dr. Vuola received his PhD in Management from Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC), University of Lausanne, Switzerland, in 2006, and his MSc in Engineering from Helsinki University of Technology in 1996. He was Adjunct Professor of Innovation Management and Technology Policy at Aalto University, Finland, in 2007-2012, and was nominated Executive in Residence at Aalto University, and Executive Director of Aalto Ventures Program (http://avp.aalto.fi/) in February 2013, thus taking the lead of the ramp-up of a new strategic entrepreneurship program of Aalto University.
Dr. Claudia Wiepcke

Dr. Claudia Wiepcke is a Professor for Economics and Economic Education at the University of Education Weingarten, Germany. For the last ten years she has taught in the business teacher education programme. Her lectures address entrepreneurship education, financial literacy and diversity management. In recent empirical studies Claudia investigates thoroughly diagnostics and development of business competences with emphasis on employability. She is an award winning researcher on the intersection of business education and gender equality.
